South Africa Rugby World Cup Coin

Although South Africa was instrumental in the creation of the Rugby World Cup competition, the Springboks did not compete in the first two World Cups in 1987 and 1991 because of boycotts against South Africa. However, on their debut in the 1995 Rugby World Cup, the Springboks made South Africa proud by winning the final match against New Zealand 15 - 12. In 2007 the Springboks once again lifted the prestigious Webb Ellis Cup high by beating England 15 – 6.

2011 Mandela SA Rugby Set

This is more look like a medallion then a coin for me but I think it still a good collection to mention for Rugby World Cup 2011 Coins. You can contact South African Gold Coin Exchange at online@sagoldcoin.com to enquire about the Springbok coin set.
