"This Is It", free Michael Jackson coin?

I am reading many news about how 20,000 Jackson coins sell out in 15 minutes yesterday. Most probably it is a press release for the Micheal Jackson "This Is It", the documentary about Michael Jackson's final rehearsals. The film which is in cinema on 28th October and suppose to be showed for two weeks, will stay in cinemas for an additional one to three weeks. This Is It earned more than £61m worldwide in its first five days, topping the US box office. Not only did it defeat low-budget horror film Paranormal Activity, last week's US champion, but it did so even over a spooky Halloween weekend. The Jackson documentary drew $32.5m (£19.8m) in the US, $10.4m (£6.3m) in Japan, and £4.6m in the UK.

I am trying to find more information about the 20,000 Jackson coins sell out in 15 minutes. Some website were saying that MJ fan will get a free Michael Jackson coin for every ticket purchase? Michael Jackson fan will receive a certificate directing them to the official website where they will have the exclusive opportunity to collect a piece of history. Is this true? How come there is a news about 20,000 Jackson coin sell out in 15 minutes when they're giving them for free? In HSN website, some customer complaining that they receive the coin but it come with a different CD/DVD, not the one as advertised. Sound like most fan care more about the CD/DVD then the coin to me.
