I've been hearing a lot of hullabaloo about the coming of "DOOMSDAY", apocalypse, or the end of the world. I find it really ridiculous! Okay, there may be scientific basis to the occurence of the said polar reversal, the sun switching its magentic poles, or a supposed "planet X" passing earth, however, are there truth to these or are these enough basis to forecast the end of the world? I guess not.Many years have passed so as the many specific dates that are said to be the doomsday. One example of a set date that failed was the Y2K (year 2000). Many authors and ministries in 1999 believed that the year 2000 will bring catastrophe due to the 2k computer bug. They've rampantly warned people. Many people were fooled, seriously taking the warning and acted by stocking ready to eat meals, foods, investing gold and silver, preparing safe houses, etc. But what did they get? To their regret or relief, NOTHING HAPPENED.
Another failed doomsday date was May 15th of 1993. This is the supposed date when Planet X will pass on earth. But comes May 15th and NOTHING HAPPENED! Oh well, so now comes the prophecy for 2012. Some people are again talking wildly about the year 2012 to be the ultimate DOOMSDAY. I will not try to convince you that this is another hubbub, but it is up to you to believe it or not..
